Tip Sheets / Tell Your Story

Have you ever read an instructional “how to” book on a particular topic and thought, “Sure…they make it sound so easy….but real life is more messy and complex than that”?

This site recognizes that there are no easy, quick-fix, one-size-fits-all solutions to every work-based learning challenge. However, we also believe that all of us in this field have a great deal to learn from the real-life experiences of our colleagues from across the country who have been “in the trenches” and emerged wiser for the effort.

This area of the site highlights stories from the field…..successes, failures, and lessons learned. We have asked those telling their stories to sum up their lessons learned in point-form tip sheets to share with users of this site.

We would like to hear from you as well. Please tell us your story, and the lessons that you have learned, by using the submit form.
